Do I have to have doctor's permission to use the beds? A. No. The beds are helpful and feel great to almost everyone. Doctors have recommended them to their patients and can write prescriptions for them. Neither is normally required for use. Q. Are the any reasons why a person couldn't use the bed? A. Yes, below are a few conditions which will prevent use of the beds. CENTER RESTRICTIONS • Because of the high volume of use in our Migun center we limit the maximum weight of our customer to No more than 350 lbs. Our deluxe beds are rated for residential use up to 380 lbs. •Our center is not currently able to provide child care. Please bring another adult to supervise any children under age 10 that accompany you during your visit. • We restrict the use of bed to people over 48" tall. We have found that people under 48" are sometimes uncomfortable on the beds. MEDICAL RESTRICTIONS Use of the Migun beds will not be provided, without doctor’s approval, to anyone with the following conditions: • Malignant Tumors • Fever of 100 degrees or higher • Heart Problems, especially persons with pacemakers or internal cardiac devices • Skin Problem that are either light/heat reactive or contagious • Women who are pregnant or trying to become pregnant • Fused vertebra • Implanted scoliosis rods • Artificial Organs or Skeletal parts • Fractures or suspected fractures • Metal implants or screws • Prickly Heat or Allergies aggravated by exercise Other excluding factors may be included in the above list, and may be added in the future without further notice. Any waiver or change in these restrictions will be made solely at the discretion of Bluegrass Migun, L.L.C management. |
